Orange County Child Advocacy Center is accepting applications for a full time Executive Director and for two part time positions which may be combined- Forensic Interviewer and Child Advocacy Center Coordinator.

The Executive Director is a professional position charged with implementing the overall mission of the Orange County Child Advocacy Center, serving Orange County, Vermont. The Executive Director oversees the Forensic Interviewer and CAC coordinator, handles personnel matters, program development, budget oversight, grant writing, and works with both partnering agencies as well as community groups. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of two years working with children and families is required.

The Forensic Interviewer position is also a professional position charged with interviewing children and adolescents who are victims of reported sexual, physical or emotional abuse or neglect. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience working with children and families is required. The candidate must be trained in forensic interviewing techniques before the contract begins.  This position may be combined with the CAC coordinator position, if desired.

The Child Advocacy Center Coordinator position is a half time position and may be combined with the Forensic Interviewer position to become full time. This person supports the administrative and clerical functions of the executive director. An associate’s degree with experience working with the public and strong administrative skills are required.
