Village School Mentor:
The Village School Mentor facilitates rich, authentic, hands-on learning experiences in nature-connection and community-building, guiding children ages 6-12 towards healthy and meaningful lives and active community and land stewardship. Mentors work collaboratively to guide and inspire each learner’s curiosity through: storytelling, sharing gratitude, making nature-based crafts, art of questioning, singing songs, sharing naturalist knowledge, and various stewardship projects. This is a full-time, position requiring 32 hours/week;  8:00am to 2:00pm on Tuesday8am-4pm Wednesday through Friday for the duration of the school year, with an option to work through the summer months.
Field Director:
The Field Director coordinates and leads all youth programs in the field, providing nature-based educational programming for children ages 6-12 while also overseeing and guiding a team of skillful, caring Mentors who provide hands-on learning to program participants. This is a full-time, year-round hourly position, requiring 40 hours/week; 8:00am to 4:00pmMonday through Friday.
