Per Diem Shelter Staff

The Upper Valley Haven seeks energetic individuals with flexibility, common sense, and good boundaries to support shelter guests in shared living environments and accomplishment of tasks to get back on their feet. We are seeking staff to fulfill all shifts on an as-needed basisin our 24/7 staffed facility. Must be able to work 3rd shift and weekends. Associate’s degree in psychology, human services, or related field and some experience with groups preferred; awareness of or experience with poverty is vital. The Upper Valley Haven offers competitive salary.

Human Service Provider

The Upper Valley Haven is seeking  staff members to provide support and case management to families and individuals who are experiencing homelessness and/or are experiencing self-sustainability issues related to poverty. Candidates should be empathetic, creative problem-solvers who thrive in a dynamic work environment and have knowledge of trauma-informed care.  This position offers opportunities to work with local partners to create solutions.  As a flexible and energetic member of a supportive and collaborative team, you will work with fellowstaff to help families and individuals obtain permanent housing, seek income, and connect to local agencies.  The position is full time; some evening work may be required.  BSW, MSW, or other related degree with experience preferred.  The Upper Valley Haven offers competitive salary plus health and other benefits.
