The Operations Assistant of North Central Vermont Recovery Center will be responsible
for recruitment, supervision, evaluation, and ongoing support of the NCVRC Volunteer
Program. He/she will ensure accurate data collection and reporting, and will assist the
administrative and operational needs of NCVRC. And he/she will be responsible directly
or through delegation for the assessment of need and procurement of supplies needed
for the facility and its programs. The operations assistant will work under the
supervision of North Central Vermont Recovery Center’s Operations Manager. This is
currently a part-time position at 20 hours per week at this time. The pay is 15.00/hr.

Duties and Responsibilities

Volunteer Program
Ensure an updated, professional, confident volunteer peer recovery support team is
providing welcoming, knowledgeable recovery services by:
-Recruiting and coordinating volunteer staff,
-Ensuring a thorough application and orientation process is completed with each new
volunteer.
-Providing ongoing support and collaborating with the Operations Manager to provide
relevant trainings for the volunteer team.

Data Management
-Ensure timely collection and reporting of all required data.

Facility and Inventory Maintenance
-Ensure supplies are ordered and stocked regularly by purchasing needed items as
necessary and by coordinating donated supplies.
-Assist with administrative tasks (filing, mailings, cost comparisons, etc.)

If in recovery from substance use, must be at least 2 years in recovery
