The Friends of the Waterbury Reservoir is seeking motivated individuals for our part-time Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Greeter program this summer on the Waterbury Reservoir.  AIS greeters speak with boaters at the different launch sites to raise awareness and prevention information and offer voluntary boat inspections. Duties include data collection and on-line data entry.
Greeters work eight hours weekly from Memorial Day to Labor Day on weekends with a flexible schedule to accommodate bad weather and times of higher boater traffic.  Pay is $15 per hour for 8 hours a week.
Successful candidates must be 18 years or older who are well organized, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills.  Greeters are required to attend a paid one day training session on Saturday, May 26th.  Familiarity with lake ecology, boating and fishing will be useful.
