At North Central Vermont Recovery Center in Morrisville, we provide a supportive, welcoming, safe, substance free environment for individuals and families on their paths to lasting recovery from addictions. We serve as an integral part of Lamoille County. We look for team members who have experience with addiction recovery themselves, as well as family members of those who have struggled with addiction.
We are looking to hire a new Recovery Coach Program Supervisor. The Recovery Coaching program’s goal is to help individuals identify, set, and achieve personal goals to achieve a fulfilling life in recovery. Specifically, building a safe, strong and supportive recovery network, and working to meet each participant’s individual ideas for what recovery means to them. Because addiction affects the whole family, we also offer recovery coaching to family members of loved ones affected by addiction.
The Recovery Coach Program Supervisor will be responsible for the management and oversight of the Recovery Center’s Recovery Coaching Program. S/he will have primary responsibility for the quality and performance of the Recovery Coaching Program at NCVRC.
Duties and Responsibilities
Engage in community outreach and education to the public about the Recovery Coaching Program.
Recruit, screen, train, support, and supervise a team of Recovery Coaches to ensure program’s quality, fidelity, and integrity.
Ensure research, planning, intake, assignment, data collection, monitoring, and evaluation of the program.
Submit monthly reports on outcome measures.
Proficient in basic software-Word, Outlook, Excel
Self-motivated, goal oriented, and strong problem solving skills.
Ability to lead, and foster cooperation and teamwork.
Effective communication skills
Familiarity with recovery concepts and practices. Experience preferred.
Basic understanding of peer support programs.
Understanding of addiction process; available treatment programs; health care options; social services programs; and criminal justice system in Lamoille County.
Demonstrates ethical behavior and sound judgement.
