Capstone Community Action is recruiting a self-motivated individual to join our development team and help strengthen the organization’s base of community support. The Development Coordinator, in partnership with the Director of Resource Development, is responsible for creating strategies to increase private support and develop a pipeline for major donor cultivation and solicitation. This position is responsible for coordinating direct mail solicitations, gift processing and managing the organization’s CRM system. The Development Coordinator will work collaboratively with the development and communications team to achieve department goals.
This is a part-time 30-32hr/wk position. It includes paid time off and excellent benefits, including health insurance. Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
We are looking for an individual with at least 1-3 years of fundraising experience. Experience in donor database administration is necessary. Direct work with Salesforce is desirable. Experience with online giving activities and platforms is highly desirable. Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are key.
