NEKCA is seeking an Executive Director. The ED plans, directs, manages and oversees the functions, operations and programs of the Agency; manages the administration and implementation of the programs and services; coordinates efforts to obtain funding sources; creates strategies to position the Agency for the future; creates partnerships with the public and private sectors; evaluates program performance and attainment of outcomes; and oversees the financial position and sustainability of the Agency. The ED reports to the Board of Directors and works closely with the CFO and the agency Leadership Team which is comprised of department heads.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Board with development of the vision, mission, goals and priorities

Management of personnel

Management of daily operations

Management of finances

Management of facilities

Recruitment and training of Board of Director members

Strategic planning for the evolving Agency

Facilitate conflict resolution

Assess the design of internal structures, systems and policies.

Ensure adequate systems are in place to maintain the highest quality of services. Oversee the development of Agency and Program budgets.

Oversee the financial and program reporting to the Board of Directors & Policy Council.

Oversee the facilities and asset management

Oversee compliance with collective bargaining unit

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree

Not-for-profit leadership and management experience

Experience with grant writing

Experience with budget administration

Effective written and verbal communications

Ability to direct and assess the performance of managers

Ability to work cooperatively and collaborate with directors, funders and partners

Strong organization and time management skills

Experience with fund raising
