Common Good Vermont offers unique underwriting opportunities to reach a highly-targeted group of individuals and organizations.

Do you excel at managing multiple dynamic programs and delivering high-quality services?  Do you love to walk or bike, and have a passion for active, vibrant communities?  Local Motion, Vermont’s walk-bike advocacy nonprofit, is looking for a full-time Business Partnerships Manager to help businesses and organizations around Vermont attract and retain employees and customers by becoming more walk and bike friendly.  You will build our network of business members, assist them with Bicycle Friendly Business recognition, organize “Everyday Bicycling” workshops at workplaces, manage Local Motion’s Valet Bike Parking service, and provide bike parking consultation to municipalities and businesses.

The Business Partnerships Manager is Local Motion’s lead for engaging businesses statewide in promoting walking and biking and in making the case for business investments in walk-bike infrastructure.  While the Business Partnerships Manager is by no means responsible for everything we do with and for businesses, he or she is the glue that holds all the pieces of our business-focused work together.  The Business Partnerships Manager’s core responsibility is to support businesses and business leaders in making biking and walking an easy and attractive option for their employees and customers.

The successful candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial drive, with a track record in building program revenues and impact over time, be comfortable in a business setting, and have strong organizational skills.  The position will entail some travel throughout Vermont.
