Community Capital of Vermont is a non-profit alternative lender serving Vermont’s lower income entrepreneurs. We consistently perform as the U.S. Small Business Administration’s top microenterprise business lender in the state.

We seek an underwriter with 3-5 years of commercial loan experience, preferably in a non-profit environment, and with great follow-through and effective communication skills. The Loan officer is responsible for managing prospective, new, and established borrower relationships, from outreach and application through underwriting, closing and follow-up.

Successful candidates will have a combination of related experience and education.  BS/BA preferred together with 3-5 years of lending experience, formal credit training is a plus.  A full job description is available upon emailed request, no phone calls, please.
